Description:

This is a late 1990's or possibly early 2000's Transcraft Eagle Super Beam spread axle flatbed trailer. I made this so that there was a Transcraft just like the one we've used for many years that could compete with what we currently have for flatbeds today. For some reason they're my favorite flatbeds, so I had to make myself one. That being said, this is the first and possibly only publicly released trailer mod I'll do for this game. It's also my first time fully scratch making a body and frame for a trailer. I didn't want to bother with the suspension though, so I just borrowed Ivan's.

IMPORTANT
This trailer was designed for use in Ivan's Cali v6 or v7 map! It will work with other maps, but the loads will be named differently. (example: The steel coil load will be named "Army Equipment" On the SCS map or any other map with the same economy)

This trailer hauls loads from the MAC and Fontaine trailers and is meant to work with the economy from Ivan's Cali v7 map. It's just meant to be an alternative trailer to use instead of the 2 that are in the map.

These are the loads it uses:
Steel Coil
Sheet Metal
Stainless Pipe
Water Tanks
Rooftop Units

I wanted to use the Concrete barriers and rebar from the Great Dane flatbed, but Ivan made that trailer using different base files, so they don't exactly match up with the other 2. It's not a very easy thing to explain, but there's no way I'd be able to include those loads without either editing economy files or making a 2nd Transcraft. Just don't be too disappointed about not being able to haul those loads.

The trailer itself not counting the loads or the wheels is 45,251 polygons. To me that's just a bit high for a flatbed trailer, but some things are hard to keep low. That's about 4,000 polygons higher than Ivan's Utility reefers, for reference. Just throwing that out there for anyone who is concerned about being able to run this. With with textured wheels and low poly loads it shouldn't be too much of a concern to run it. Trailers typically aren't, but they're too overlooked in that way.

Alright, I've talked enough. If you get the idea of what you can and can't do with this, then here's the line to put in the trailer_storage.sii:

@include "definition/transcraft48.sii"

Enjoy!!!
