Peterbilt Pack 1.2 by Jon aka "Cascadia"

1.1 CHANGES:
-1999 Peterbilt Steering wheel is now animated. HUGE thanks to Mars812
-All major model textures previously in tga format are now in png format instead. This allows for smaller file size and alpha channel support without losing too much quality. However, editing will be slightly more difficult. ***Further info below***
-Install instructions fixed to have the correct definition sii names (see below)
-Lugs on 2004 378 wheels have been changed
-378 Heat shields and texture have been slightly changed
-Flares updated to 1.1

1.2 CHANGES:
-New truck: 2000 Peterbilt 377
-Tire textures have been replaced and all wheel models have been remapped to the new textures
-Alpha channels for the interior textures on the 1999 379 and 2000 377 have been changed so a few more things on the dash light up
-Flares updated to 1.2 (if you have a newer version of the flares, keep that one. It will most likely perfectly backwards-compatible with other mods that use it.)

Let's get started here:
So, we have 4 trucks here so far. The original idea of the pack was to have pre-05 Peterbilt trucks with the standard interior instead of the American class. That of course has changed after I decided to give more thought and diversity to it. All 4 trucks have mostly accurate and detailed cab and sleeper interiors (all of which have speed, tach, air, fuel and warning light animations) and each truck has its own set of wheels. I also included some new custom flares which will also be constantly changed until I consider them perfect, and an optional realistic smoke mod made by a modder named kamaz about 4 years ago that might not be very easy to find but I thought it would be neat if other people would like to try it and see how nice it is. Credit still goes to him.
What we have here is:
2004 378, Unibilt Ultracab 63" sleeper
2002 379, Flattop 48" sleeper
1999 379EXHD, American Class interior flat cab with 63" sleeper
2000 377, American Class interior, Ultracab 63" sleeper

Like I said, I still have 2 other trucks in the works that will be included in future updates. This may or may not also include changes to the already-existing trucks, so if you're going to customize, don't go too overboard unless you're willing to swap parts over to a new model. But it still is a may-or-may-not kind of situation so don't be too worried about it either.

...Oh right, I'll take this time to mention credits as well:
Ivan (hardtruckisthebest)
Chris (formerly bay0net)
Tim (polarexpress17)
Jon (Cascadia)
James60470
Cedric
Mars812
And a huge thanks to Mars812 for the steering wheel animation for the '99 and '00 trucks

That's it.

Now for the installation:
Let me just start by saying that any of these trucks can be installed by themselves, unlike my last truckpack where they were all crammed into 1 truck folder. God, what a mess that was. Same for the model.
So that being said, put any one (or all of them, i don't care) truck scs file in the mod folder, along with the flares. Without these, your truck has absolutely no lights.

Add these lines unless you already have Jon's (Cascadia's) 377 installed:

2000 377:
	truck_storage.sii
@include "definition/2000pt377.sii"
	interior_storage.sii
@include "definition/00pete377.sii"
	camera_storage.sii
@include "units/interior_00pete377.sii"

Just remember, only add the storage lines to the truck you have in your mod folder. If you don't then your game will most likely freeze at startup.

Alright, that's it. Enjoy the trucks. Like I said, there's more to come. This took me a year and 3 months to get this far, so bear with me here as I finish them on a later date.

***INFO ON EDITING NEW PNG TEXTURES***
In the 1.1 update, I converted my tga textures to png. This greatly reduced the size of the files which will lessen the chance of a memory block error occuring without the lower quality of dds format. I understand that this will make editing them much more difficult since DXTBmp does not save png files. However, DXTBmp can still open them and separate the alpha channel, so editing through that program will still be possible up until you need to save. In this case, save as tga format, then convert to png using this freeware:
http://www.easy2convert.com/tga2png/
This is as much support as I will provide in terms of using that program.
If you do not want to convert to png, then you can always save as either tga (NOT RECOMMENDED IF TRYING TO AVOID MEMORY BLOCK CRASHES) or dds and then hex edit the .tobj that corresponds to it by renaming the file extension to match.

This is currently a new-to-me modding technique, and is being tested.
